Cooold start up

hey all. It is frigging fuurrrrrrrreeeeeezzzzzing here....-2 below this morning when i went to start my car this morning(-30 windchill). It almost did not crank over! I had to turn the key and hold it there for a while. I did not think it would start up!

Hey ChitownRL, does your auto headlight on/off sensor work less well when it is cold ? Mine was less sensitive this AM when it was about 11 degrees here in NJ. Needed quite a lot of sun before the headlights went off. It was not like this when the weather was warmer.

BTW - I used to be from the Chicago area so I know what it's like.

what year is yours? i really have not noticed the sensitive light issue. I live in a highrise and usually park in the garage. It was just that one day i spent the night in the burbs i had to leave it out side.

* high five * that's a downward move, isn't it? hopefully your paycheck is worth it!

god im getting sick of this weather....need to move to AZ or Cali

2006 Op Blue Pearl/Ebony.

Seeing as I was paid nuthin' in Chitown, I guess I did OK coming out here.

Really appreciate the seat warmers now that the arctic air is blasting us.

Oh crap! you postin in wrong forum again?

yeah i have my seat warmers blated on high! it has been below zero here for a few days now....I usually take the Lasalle st. bus to downtown but my lazy ass has been driving to work and forking over 15 bucks for discounted parking downtown!
