Best wind deflector for 2002 RL?

I just bought a black 2002 RL and love it. My only complaint is that the sunroof is fairly noisy when the shade is pulled back (while the sunroof is still closed). Does anyone have an opinion as to the best wind deflector that may help with the problem? I'm looking at a Benevento or a Auto Ventshade and wanted to get some input before I buy.

Thanks,

FFD

Either shut the sun shade or buy a 2004.....otherwise most all honda's/acura's are that way.....The "visor" may help while closed, but mostly works when your sunroof window is open.....
Welcome.....

Smile I'll take the noise and the $10k, thank you very much

I wish the 04' was an option but since it's another $10k over what I paid, I'll just put up with the noise.

What did they do on the 04' to correct the problem? Also, I also have a 97' RL that my daughter is driving and I don't recall the sunroof being so noisy (although, overall, the 02' is significantly quieter).

Thanks, anyway.

FFD

Relative

I guess that noisy is a bit of a harsh term. I want it to be very quiet to the point of silence and maybe I'm expecting a little much. Regardless, I'll have the dealer check it out since it's still under warranty.

As I stated in other threads, mine is so quite for example, If I choose to put a small bag of groceries in the car, it annoyes me, because I "hear" it .........I'm not saying the earlier year models are noisy, but they only IMPROVED as production continued to the 2004's.....very tomb quite inside......

As it turns out, part of the problem is that I am missing a rubber plug on the underside of the car. There are holes that are left as part of the metal forming process on the body that Acura plugs with rubber stoppers. If they fall out, you hear road noise as a result up through the rear side pillar and to the sunroof.

Strange, but true, according to the tech at the Acura dealership.

It would be very helpful if you could take a picture of the hole acura is talking about so we will be better informed next time this issue comes up. Good info !

Very well. I'll climb my big rear up under the RL and snap a few.
