Any problems on '96 RL?
I was a honda owner, and I'm looking forward to by an '96 RL with mileage around 100,000 and 130,000.
I want to know if any one who owns/owned '96 RL, had problems with it or what are things I should look out for after/before I buy it. Plus how do they work when its over 200,000. Because I'm looking forward to keep this car for two years or more.
Any Advice! Thanks in advance.
NB:
This is off topic; I had a '93 Accord and it was running good on 260,000+ until I got into a wreck and decided to move to something big and thats when I decided the Acuras 3.5, so I wanted to know if the life is almost like hondas.

Yeah man, the first generation Acura RL will go the distance. I think the verdict is still out on the second gen RL, TL, CL, and first gen TSX. Anyone with bad tranny experiences with the TL/CL will know what I'm talking about, not sure if I trust the newer Acura technology as much as the Legend/Integra dominated years back in the early to mid 90s. Any thoughts anyone else?
1st gen RL is rock solid in terms of reliability. The 1999 - 2004 RL has more features and updates than the first 3 years. Xenon lights, side airbags and better handling. If possible get a '99 or newer.
You could also try a 1st generation TL.
