ABS, TCS, and SRS lights came on.

My ABS, TCS, and SRS lights just all came on. Is this a serious problem or not? How can I fix this? I tried hitting the TCS button, but the light won't turn off. All the lights stay off when I turn the car on until I start driving. Once it starts moving they all come on. What can I do?

Airbag and braking system lights probably fall under the considerably serious category. I'd get it looked at pronto.

Your ABS and TCS lights are probably because of one or more faulty wheel sensors, it's a common problem on the first gens. It's not too serious of a problem, your brakes will still work fine, just no ABS. Also make sure you turn off your TCS if the light doesn't come on right away.

Not sure about the SRS, but it could also be a common problem. Do a quick search on the forums, you might find something helpful.

Changed out the OEM Acura battery to an Optima Yellow top. SRS went out. It starts up easier now also. I still gotta get the TCS and ABS worked on. My suspension is getting sloppy also now. I am just going to have Acura stealership look at it. I just don't trust local shops anymore.

Hi

I have a similar problem with my 98 RL. I have my ABS and TCS lights on. But i can sense that it works when i do harsh acceleration on slippery rainy days.

Does this something to do with "wheel sensors". How much do Acura dealers charge for changing one?

It was my driver's side rear sensor. I will list the cost after it's all done. It's still at the dealership. I got an 08 Acura TL as my loaner for a few days. I honestly want to just keep the TL. It has every option besides chrome rims. The part it's self is $169, instal is still unkown.

It was a sensor in the driver's side rear wheel. $169 fixed it.
