I have the tape player in dash w/the 6 disc changer in the trunk. After disconnecting the battery, the cd changer hasn't worked again. If I push the cd button on the head unit, it does nothing. The steering wheel, tape player and all radio functions of the head unit work fine. I called the acura dealer and they said to take it to a stereo store. The stereo store said all that they would know how to do on factury stereos is to reset them. So I unplugged the changer in the trunk and tried disconncecting the battery again, but nothing has worked.

Any suggestions?

I have seen some other acura model head units on ebay that have the changer in the dash. Would something like that fit in the 96 RL?
