I have a 96 RL with the Alpine sound sytem. I'd like to replace it with the factory Bose system. I'd like to know what components I need. This what I have so far:

1) Radio receiver unit
2) Speakers/Tweeters? (I've heard Bose systems only work with Bose speakers/tweeters)
3) Factory Bose Amp
4) CD changer unit? (I think the Bose unit uses a different harness).

Any help or advise is gladly appreciated.

Any reason you want the Bose system? Seems like alot of trouble for a factory system.

 

I know this sound crazy, but I want to install a carpc, and want to look as OEM as possible. I bought a cheap RL navi bezel and climate control unit. The original RL navi version runs the Bose system.

Dominican, I believe thats everything you'll need. One possibility is the wiring/wiring harnesses. Not sure what impedence is needed.
