2005 rl navigation/ac control problems

2005 rl navigation/ac control problems
We purchased the car about 2 years ago and recently the navigation started acting up. When you start the car, the nav seems to work but after a few minutes it freezes up and none of the other controls, a/c, maps, audio, menu do not work. It seems to be related to the nav system. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem?
