can the 2003 RL tail light fit on the 1997 RL? please tell me

So when are you getting the 2003 tail lights i would like you to tell me if it works on the 1997

A friend of mine did it (04 on a 96) but it required a new bumper and some modifications. Some drilling because they weren't a direct bolt on and wiring harness needed to be rewired.

ok you mean it needed a 04 bumper?
