1998 3.5 rl se
I have fallen in love with my 1998 Acura RL Special Edition. It is Cayman White Pearl with a beautiful light beige leather interior. This odometer is the only nonfunctional component of the car, but a mechanic has estimated 250,000 miles. I care for this car is if it were my child, but I've never had children, so that may be inaccurate. Nonetheless, I've been blessed with this beautiful piece of machinery.

It's a great car (I own a 2000 RL.) The reason it feels a little heavy is because it is. It weighs almost two tons (3920 lb curb weight.) It was built for comfort, not blistering speed. However, it will move when necessary. Enjoy it.

Hey guys! Just picked up a crystal blue metallic '99 3.5 RL. The car has 165,000 miles and had 2 owners before me. Bought it from a little old lady that did all the scheduled maintenance, feels very solid for being a 16 year old car! The tires were shot and the wheels on the car were pretty curbed up from granny running into the curb at the ATM so I lurked craigslist and found a great deal on some '05 TL wheels with Michelin pilots on them...should clean up the car a bit.
Things wrong with the car that I haven't messed with yet.....Passenger side low beam is not lighting up, Steering column doesn't tilt, paint needs clay bar and detail and something feels a little loose in the steering...feels like a tie rod. Most of these "should be" simple fixes lol..Other than that everything works as it should.
Cars before this: 2000 Toyota Celica GT, 1997 Honda Prelude base, 1999 Subaru Forester. I'm 23, work for J.P. Morgan Chase!

Just purchased a Black 2000 RL
Just purchased a 2000 RL non NAVI. I got it very cheap b/c it has title issues. Almost done with fixing title problems
Car has 130,000 and has used front clip from previous wreck, all body panels look good and paint is fair from 10' away. I gave $600 for it so I can forgive a lot of small issues. It also has some rust in the rear wheel wells. Looking at having that fixed asap and maybe a complete paint job.
Here is what I found wrong with it so far: Sunglass holder missing, center console middle piece broken, missing 3.5 RL Badge, Driver inside door handle chrome flaking and handle does not open door, rear driver window regulator inop, back brakes bad (replacing pads and rotors tonight) and I need to replace hood struts.
Drives very nice, has new tires and battery, seats and most interior is near perfect, no rips or tears. Except for aforementioned items everything works as it should. I just wrecked a 2004 accord v6 sedan and I can't believe how much smother this RL is. not as much power though!
I will post pics when I get home later tonight.

2002 rl
2002 RL with navigation
Blue Indigo Pearl, grey interior
132,338 miles
Daily driver, approximately 5,400 miles a year (32,338 miles since Christmas Eve 2011)
Purchased Memorial Day 2010 (purchased my late, lamented 1990 Legend on Memorial Day 2002), third owner
Replaced rear window regulator, passenger side, twice now--once with salvage part, which didn't last long, and last time with replacement bought on eBay that cost $27 and so far, so good
Steering column tilt no longer works
Had repair shop fix odometer display
Replaced navigation display with unit purchased on eBay
Replaced interior door handle (front, driver side)
Under the hood, great shape -- driver side interior column post is losing its cover and that drives me a little crazy because what's the fix? More adhesive and attempt to stretch the vinyl to fit? Rip off the old vinyl and paint what's left grey?

2002 RL without navigation, 90,000 original miles, one owner Florida car. Paid $500 because it wouldn’t start, turned out to be the main relay. Dark green paint, not sure what the color is called
