tire help
Do you know the type and tread depth?
You can go with 235/60/18 tire. The tire might be past the % required to accurate speedo reading. You could be looking at 2-3 mph faster than what shows on the speedo on the hwy. The RDX should be alright with the sh-awd, anti-lock brakes, VSA, and brake distribution system. I prefer sticking to the standard size to eliminate potential problems.
Tires are one of the most important safety features on your car. You can decrease braking, increase cornering, decrease road noise, save money long-term with good treadlife, save gas, and improve all weather capabilities by picking the right tires. Plenty of folks have tried all types of tires on this forum. As long as the tires are something you are familiar with and have +75% tread, it might be worth saving $$$. I wouldn't go with cheap tire because it is cheap. Someone gave those tires up for a reason, hate to find out the hard way myself what that reason was.
