Thanks for the kind words. The wheels have definitely been turning heads. Got my first random compliment yesterday from some driver on the road.
I shined up the tires and wheel wells with some Armor All Extreme Tire Shine Aerosol. Thinking about painting the calipers matte black since the dirty red calipers don't seem to match. The brakes seem small in the 20's but the gold EBC 3GD rotors look great with the gold wheels.

The brand is Advanti.

Have no had a chance to weight them against stock, they are lighter though.

How would you had of felt if you went 20"s instead. could you still be that low?

Well, $$$ is what really kept me away from a 20 set up.
If looks was your #1 concern I think 20s look just right for the RDX.
If handling is your #1 concern then I would do 19 set up, go for 9.5 (or even 10) and 275 tires. These wheels and the BC coilovers really transformed my RDX. It is not an SUV (handling wise) anymore, it feels more like a euro sports sedan.
It now REALLY needs a thicker rear swaybar.

nothing personal but...maybe a euro wagon. The RDX has room for improvement, coil-overs can certainly help. But the RDX is no sport sedan. Even if you drop the RDX 5", it is still 5" taller than a BMW 335-AND-weights in almost 1500 pounds more.
Bottom line, there are better vehicle choices for modding out than the RDX.

Since you can't take it with you, I'd say spend it while you can and enjoy it!
I mod because I enjoy having something different, improving on the original design (I'm into good handling), it is a hobby of mine, I buy my cars used then spend my money on moding them (got my 07 RDX with 50K miles for $18k), enjoy sleeper vehicles, etc, etc.
I guess each to his own.
Cheers.

RDX Supercar?
First...
How would 19x9.5 w/275 tires look on an '11 @ stock ht? Will they rub?
Stuck on stock ht and will not be lowering our RDX as we really do go off pavement often.
But we have a 1 legger and could benefit from more traction.
If and when I do get better traction with lighter, wider w&t I wonder if wheel hop could become an issue? Hope not.
And while I agree with Marco about the limitations of the RDX as a hi-performance vehicle, I also understand a couple of mitigating factors that may come into play here.
Whatever you own, it is always fun to personalize it. Sure they sold thousands of them, but yours is not like all those others.
And for some the option of owning multiple cars is not presently possible. So you run what you brung.

My rims finally arrived and were installed yesterday! They are 18"x8 TSW Nurbugring matte gunmetal, 35+ offset with OEM 235/55/18 Michelin tires. Wow these things are much lighter then the stock rims only weighing 18.6 lbs. I know they are not 19" or 20" rims but I was going with budget in mind without having to buy new tires. Offset makes them look much better then the stock rim offset as well, much more flush.

Redevil, looking very sharp. My favorite color combo...
I throw on some of my RX7 wheels just to see how they would look and fit.
Rear are 17x10 with a 45 offset, tires are 275 and I have a 25mm spacer. Keep in mind I heavily rolled my fenders and due to the suspension I currently have a very aggresive 2.5 degree negative chamber in the back....but they fit!
Without the spacer 10 inch wide rims (even 10.5) and 275 (even 285) tires fit this car.

anybody know the weight of our wheels? I got a 2008 rdx with the oem wheels and I am wondering how much I would be saving going to lets say an enkei rpf01 19" and also how wide of a wheel and tire combo can I go before rolling fenders?

I was planning on getting a set of these:
http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_interlagos.php
They are TSW Interlagos, the same weight specification as the TSW Nuremberg. I was planning on getting them in Matte Black.
How do you think that would look on a first gen Alabaster Silver RDX?
Also, I am torn about rim sizes, tire widths, and off-sets.
I prefer better handling/performance over looks... so do you think I should go for 19" or 20"? I would usually say 19 (lighter) but in this case I am not sure because the 20" are lighter than the stock 18" rims and the 20" will provide a smaller profile. I am also somewhat worried about pot holes as i live in the north (Alberta, Canada).
Also, for tire widths, I don't like my tires off-set. Again I prefer performance over looks. These will be strictly summer tires/rims. I was thinking 255/50 or 45. I'm leaning more towards a larger diameter wheel compared with the stock to "fill" the wheel well. Do you think 245 width would handle/perform better? or would 255? or 275?
I'm concerned that the RDX doesn't have enough power output to use up the potential of 275 width tires and that the vehicle would just be lugging around extra rubber that can't actually put the power down. However, i do have the Hondata reflash, CP-E intake, and ETS TMIC. And I understand that wider tires provide more lateral grip.
Now, for off-sets. I prefer my tires to stick out as much as possible but without the possibility of hitting the fender and i do not have fender rollers.
The tire width and off-set i am considering are the following:
8.5" w/ 20 offset
9" w/ 32 offset
Do you guys think the 8.5" w/ 20 off set would still be within the fender? how about the 9" w/ 32 offset? I believe the 8.5" w/ 20 off set would stick out more than the 9" w/ 20 offset.. am i correct?
If you guys could help me out and give me a your thoughts on all 3 items combined (rim size: 19" or 20", tire width: 245, 255, or 275, and also rim width: 8.5" w/ 20 offset or 9" w/ 32 offset). I understand i may have to consider other offsets if the 275 width tires are chosen.
Your guys' help is really appreciated. I'm not that good with tires.
