Pics of aftermarket wheels Thread

Hi Everyone! I just purchased my RDX 2 weeks ago and been in search of 20" wheels for the RDX and haven't been successful with much RDX with aftermarket wheels.

IF anyone has aftermarket wheels and pics please post.

Appreciate it.
Thanks

I was hoping that someone will start an aftermarket rim thread. The post above is speicifcally for his modifications. Creating a new one will allow everyone to post theirs.

I would like to see an increase of aftermarket rims on people RDX's.

MMike1981 11-29-2007 01:40 PM

for a site like ronjon, they needs pics of all their rims on the car, i like some of their stuff for the RDX just have no idea what they would look like, their galleries are user submitted.

I will say that the TSW Vortex & Estrolis look awesome on the car.

k23a1 11-29-2007 02:50 PM

Yes, the Vortex rim is a very nice design, and to provide better choices, people with aftermarket rims should post!!!

rondog 12-08-2007 08:31 AM

Nothing beats these wheels in 20" on the RDX, we just need more RDX customers to get more images in the gallery.

DNPhotography 12-08-2007 12:52 PM

Im not tryin to be a dick here, but, you guys have some solid designs, you say they look great on the RDX, yet how are we supposed to know!? lol cant you post YOUR pics/renderings for us so we can see them actually on the car....prob better for business as well to show the customer the look before they have to buy

Lrpba300 12-10-2007 11:59 PM

He traded it in for a pearl white TL-S w/tech package. and yeah DNP why did you go for 19's instead of 20's when you had the turbo?

xcyrax 12-13-2007 08:10 AM

This question is for DNphotography: in one of your posting you said """20x8.5 MRR Designs HR2s w/ 255-45-20 Toyo proxes "" and on this posting you said ""MRR Designs HR-2s. 19 x 8 i had 245/45s on them."" I was just wondering which one was correct and if the rim on the picture are 20" or 19"

Thank You

DNPhotography 12-13-2007 11:51 AM

oops im sorry it was 20"sx 8.5"

SinCity 12-14-2007 12:18 AM

How much were those MRR 20s and where can you get them? They look fabulous on your vehicle.

Nevermind. Found them @ Superbuytires.com for $258 19" and $293 for 20".

'08RDX: That is sweet! I was hoping someone would install these. I had the 19" version of these on my ML back in 2000. After all of these years, these wheels still look good. I am really surprised how well these look on the RDX and you can't beat the price.

Not sure if I want to go with a 19" to retain some "meat" on the tires.

what is the logo next to the Turbo badge on the rear of your RDX? -- I have never sen that before.

SinCity 12-20-2007 09:44 PM

Looks like a "Type S" badge.

MN Matt 12-20-2007 10:20 PM

I assume it was an addition by the owner -- there is no type s rdx, is there?

JMJ3rd 12-20-2007 10:32 PM

nope

icenoir 12-21-2007 08:33 AM

type s would look better if rdx was moved to the left and the S put next to it. debadging the rest of the rear looks better too.

Bernard1973 12-21-2007 11:39 AM

please post pics of your RDX with aftermarket RIMS, that was the theme of the post

I reallz like the WDP with MRRs

Yes. 235/55/19. Thats what the dealership put on it. I also believe that is why my ride didn't get too rough after lowering with the Eibachs.

When I can, later next year, I want the 20" RonJon Legend Type II's like in the ad in the top right corner.

Thanks Lrpba300.

Your welcome! & Merry Christmas....now I'm going to have to get my CGP shinny again like yours is! :toocool:

Are those tires the Parada Spec X? Are they noisier or quieter than stock?

mtwiford 12-29-2007 03:56 PM

Please tell me that is not a "Type S" emblem on the back??

Looking really good. Is it drop, and do you also have the front under spoiler.

SinCity 12-29-2007 11:27 PM

Cose has the front under spoiler and is on Eibachs. FYI, he told me his wheels are 20 x 8.5 on a 40 offset.

Could someone chop the TL Type S wheels onto an RDX please.

These are the closest angles of each car I could find on the Acura website. I think it would look great. Would anyone happen to know if the Type S wheels would fit on the RDX?
