20x8.5 TSW Vortex + Eibach Pro Spring Kit
Sorry for the picture quality (phone cam + low daylight). Had these and a set of Eibach pro springs installed at the dealership today around 6pm and then had to run the hound before getting a chance ot snap some pix... Anyhow, I'm very pleased!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I previously had 255/40/20 Toyo ST's and now I have 255/45/20 Toyo Px4 and with the extra sidewall (just under 2" total), I think my ride is pretty much the same. Maybe just a bit smoother and quieter than before even with the springs. It was big day for Marley, as I recv'd my ecu back reflashed from Hondata, too! Now ust waiting for my 15mm Ichiba spacers and HID conv kits for the DRL and fogs (it feels like x-mas!) Without further adoo... https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=27834 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=27832 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=27831 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=27830 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=27829 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=27827 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=27824 Before the Vortex + Eibachs https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=26922 I'll take my camera out this weekend and snap some more photos, hopefully the weather agrees. |
...PS, don't look at my brakes. Look away!!:what:

I think the color goes good with that red

LOVEEE the vortex, the RJs look good the rim needs to be at least a 19 tho w/lower pro tire...with the chubby tire & 18 inch rim, kinda washes out the effect of the lowering kit & makes the tires look like donuts....i still dig the look, but the appearance is off....im not hating!!!!!
|
Those vortex do look nice.. I looked at some of those too..in flat black...but those look good in that color on your ride Sublime1...good upgrade!

Maybe in a few years I could move the RonJon's to my TSX and upgrade to 19" or 20" down the road (I think the RonJon will fit on the TSX?). |
sounds good man...sometimes we just cant do it all

Well to be honest, they don't really flow well & they look a tad on the cheap side. Having said that, it's your car and as long as your happy with it, that's what really matters.
So, trying to see if anyone would like to buy these locally and switch back to OEM ones. |

... I'm jealous of you all, the wheels are totally changing the overall look of the RDX. BTW, was it a pain in the butt for you guys to transfer the tire pressure sensor to your new wheels?

I love the look of the 19" A-spec rims on the 07 Moroccan Red Pearl RDX!!
|
What you guys think? Chrome or forged OEM 19" fit nicer with the White RDX? Someone is going to buy my rims and tires, so, I'm going to buy a new set at the dealer this week. Any thought?
|
=]
it's so cool. i need to buy one as soon as possible
|
what are some offsets safe to run? i realize that +43 is the stock, but to fit a bigger wheel like 19x9, can i run a +20? or should i stick w/ 19x8 +37
|
or can i fit a 19x9 +37??
|
You'll be fine with either one. I'm running a 20x8.5 +35mm offset w/245/45 tires.

Check this out. Some pics of my Black on Black '09 RDX. With 22" Rims! IMHO 22's are what should be on the RDX. They fill out the wheel well and looks much better than a 20. It is all personal preference though.
Sorry for the Pics not being clear. I will take some more later and they will be Hi Def. For now here is a teaser pic. All comments welcome. Let me know what you think. Thanks https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=30923 |
wow, they do look sick, did you lower your rdx ?
|
Yes my RDX is lowered with the Eibach kit.
I still would like it a little lower but this is ok for now. |
You're the second person to go with 22's!
Cool |

How is the ride with the 22" and Eibach springs compared to 18" or 19"? I kept my 18" with the Eibach springs because I was worried about the ride quality with anything larger.
