Help with tire decision

I need to replace the original Michelin's on my 2008 RDX and am strongly considering the Continental Pure Contact w/Eco Plus Technology, Michelin Premier A/S and the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus. I am mainly interested in tread life and comfort, not handling so I am not strongly considering the Conti DWS. Any thoughts on the tires I'm considering...or any other tire suggestions?

Thanks for the response Bighatch...Continental Pure is 700 and Michelin Premier is 640. I thought the Pirelli's would fit our cars but they do not, at least on the Tire Rack site. Tire Rack also makes the point that the ratings may be more meaningful within a brand rather than across brands but at least it is one measure.

Correct - treadwear ratings are not upheld by any particular industry standard. I've had 200 treadwear tires (Continental) go in 20k miles, which I then replaced with 400 treadwear tires (General) that lasted...20k miles. I then replaced them with a 340 treadwear tires (Bridgestone) and got 42k miles. All of these were summer tires with no mileage guarantees. Look at the mileage warranties, then you know that if they do wear fast, at least you get some money back.

In checking tread life warranties, Michelin's are 6 years/60,000 miles and Conti's are 6 years/80000 miles. I bought the Michelin's because the shop that will install the tires recommended Michelin's and also said Continental tires tend to be noisier.

All three are quiet and comfortable. The Conti would be the softest ride with the Pirelli being the quietest and the Michelin being best in the wet.
