Can the RDX get stuck in snow?
Yes, it can get stuck!! 7:00 AM today I went to back out my garage to go to work and there was like a 16 inch snow drift up against my garage door. I just figured I could back out and "plow" through it for about 18 feet or so until clear pavement. WRONG!! The RDX got stuck halfway. I couldn't move any further back and now I couldn't move forward either! Crap!! I tried turning off VSA and that helped a little bit but not enough to clear me. I had to get out and shovel in front and behind each tire and finally got enough grip to move the RDX.
Moral of the story, the RDX is NOT invincible in the snow.

Snow can be deceivingly "strong" once packed.
My cousin did the same thing you did, only little snow in the driveway, but a berm left behind from the plows at the head of the driveway. She took a running start and blasted through the berm only to get hung up on the berm. All four tires were in the air, well clear of the snow, and the weight of the car supported on the berm, suspension still compressed. The tow truck driver had NEVER seen anything like it.

You hit it on the head Mr Marco. If the snow exceeds the ground clearance of the vehicle, AWD or not, you're going to get stuck. Period. Sure, snow tires would help but still. I was trying to plow thru 12+ inches of snow! MNore than double the ground clearance. Only got so far until the RDX begged for mercy. Had to suck up my pride and get the shovel out.
