17" steel rims 5x120 or 5x114

Hey folks, I need a quick response as I'm picking up a set of winters from a local tire place.

They are giving me a set of steel rims 5x120. I thought our bolt pattern is 5x114?

Can someone confirm this for me?

5 x 120 is for the RL and MDX, I believe.

Steelies for winter. Shop wants an extra $200 for alloys but for winter I don't really care.

So should I inquire about why they are giving me 5x120 instead of 5x114

...maybe they are thinking MDX. I've had that issue before with tire shopping.

Can I pick up any set of 17 inch Steelies or do they need to be Honda?

Just worried if I pick up a set from Kijiji if they will be compatible.

Good question. I haven't had a set of steel wheels since my first car in 1983 (which I totalled in the first 6 months of ownership).

So long as they fit (bolt pattern, offset, etc), I can't think of why not.

not all steelys are the same gotta make sure your offset is correct otherwise you will be rubbing on the rotor specially if you are downsizing the rim size from a 18 to a 17
