I was reading the service bulletins and noticed one about faulty wiper motors in 07 models where the wipers don't "park" when turning the ignition off. I never realized they were supposed to - I always found it strange that whenever I turn my 08 RDX off, the wipers just stop where they are in the middle of my windshield, and I have to turn it to ON and turn the wipers off and then turn off the car again. Is this normal? I've seen other cars where the wipers automatically return to their rest position when you turn the car off, but I just assumed like auto-off headlights, that that kind of feature didn't make it into the RDX.

 

i did not know that either. i'm pretty sure i've seen it stuck in the middle. what about the rear wiper? for sure mine just stops in the middle if i turn off the car.
