Angry Wiper Insanity

So my front windshield wipers have been going nuts. Sometimes I can't turn them off after I turn them on, sometimes they don't stop at the bottom after I shut them off. Any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds like a ghost in the machine. Haven't had that problem.

Uhmmm... Are you sure they are off? The right toggle should be all the way up and not left on intermitant speed sensitive auto (one click down.) Never heard this issue before.

Turn the wipers OFF before turning the car OFF to have them bottom.

If all else fails, take it to the dealer. I'm curious. Let us know the outcome.

My wipers are doing the same thing. One day it just started happening out of no where and I've always taken care to ensure the wipers are off before turning off the car. I am taking it to the dealer this Saturday. They said I have to have someone diagnose it and it will take a while. Will let you know what the problem is.

There's a TSB for this issue. Take it to the dealer and have them fix it without charge.

Got back from dealer. They said the switched shorted and will need replacing. All covered by them.
