Windshield Crackling sound

Does anyone experience windshield crackling noise when driving in very cold weather?

I was driving at 80 mph the other day and the temp was 18 deg F and i noticed that my windshield is making a crackling sound, it sounds like my windshield will crack due to cold weather... It wasnt salt or hale..

Thanks

I think all cars make those kind of noises in the winter. My RDX does the same thing. So does my Lexus, and my TL before that. You don't need to worry about the windshield cracking. It is perfectly normal in very cold weather to hear these noises.

Thank you for your comment, i might call my dealer this week about this noise just to be safe and get a peace of mind because my other car doesnt make any noise like this.
