When my RDX is in idle at a stop, I have a noise on occasion coming from the engine compartment that reminds me of a diesel engine. Pressing slightly on the gas pedal will take the noise away.

Any ideas or does any one else experience this?

 

It could be the heat shield from the cat converter. Mine makes the same noise on occasion. Other than that, not too sure.
