Lately, the middle compartment door has been squeaking when I rest my elbow on top while driving. It drives me MAD! Does this happen to anyone else? The 'leather' feels so nice against my elbow so I can't kick that habit.

 

Add a little WD-40 to the hinges?

 

Mine squeaks too when I open and close. Probably just needs lubrication at the hinges.

 

Had rattle in mine. Solved by adding a little piece of self adhesive rubber weather strip to the underside of the lid between the latches. this might work for you as it adds upward pressure to the entire lid.
