Slop in driver seat track

I noticed a slight sift, or movement, in the seat when I take off or brake hard. I went into all other types of Acura models in the showroom, and they were all rock solid. Except the other RDX. I have a feeling Acura dropped the ball on the seat track assembly design.

It is a 2009 RDX bought in May

i dunno...they all have some play in them, Honda/Acura , wouldnt really worry about it, but if its really bad have em look at it

most recently just drove a 2009 V6 Accord, seat was all over the place, just readjust front/back, and see if it locks up tighter

i can remem my Honda/Acura power seats having a lot of play in them from my very first back in the mid/late 90's

My 2006 Honda CRV had that seat problem. My 08 RDX does not. (so far - knock on wood)

If u phyically shift your weight around, it does not do it? I want to get in yet another RDX to try it.

I have a CPO 2009 RDX that I noticed the same little movement of the driver seat. From what I can tell the passenger seat does not have the same movement. My wife and I share the car, so the seat is always being adjusted and every time it does the same thing (for me). My wife has not noticed the movement, but then again, she's only a hair over 100lbs so maybe there isn't enough weight to move the seat.

Our 2006 TSX does not have this issue...neither does my mother in-laws 2003 TL...or my cousins 2009 MDX...or his last 2004 TSX...or my friends 2006 RL. The next time I see my sister in-law I'll check her 2009 RDX to see if it has the same issue.

It seems the RDX has some strange little issues about it that just don't seem like all the other quality products Acura has put out. I sure do like the RDX and when given the chance to pick a car to drive in the garage...I pick it every time!
