Anyone notice any rattling from the side windows when open 1/4 the way? Most noticable on the freeway....

 

yep, happened in my 07, same rattle in the 08..but not really just highway just whenever its opened that far and the car shakes

 

did you have it fixed or just turned up the radio so it doesn't bother you.....like I have?

 

This is the second Acura I have had(other was an MDX)and both
of them have windows that shake and rattle

 

My drivers side window rattles too when its down. It might even rattle a little bit when its all the way up. Would the dealer do anything about it if i brought it in?

 

i just bang out some beats...it only aggrevates me if i have someone in the car and we need to talk and it sounds like a sh#t box. i hate rattles.

 

Yes, also happens in my '03 Civic...

 

I was thinking of brining it in but if they open up the door panel it might just loosen more things up......so I'm not sure if they would be able to fix it or make it worse. Right now its raining here in the SF Bay Area so I don't have it down as much but I might be annoyed when the summertime.....maybe then I'll bring it in.......

 

I'm kind of behind on this thread as I'm just now considering replacing my 05 TSX with an 08 RDX. As far as window "issues" - I think that's a "Welcome to Honda/Acura" issue. Prior to the 05 TSX I had a 97 3.0CL.

The 97 CL had regulators (the motors, sorry I'm not as knowledgable as all of you so that could be the wrong term) replaced 3 times that I know of.

My 05 TSX has already had both pieces of glass in the front replaced (they were getting scratched) and most recently my power locks stopped working (that was the only thing not covered under warranty). Of course it was the front passenger side door. I also get rattling in the passenger side window (only - not the other ones...I don't get it) with both the CL and the TSX.

My dealership (in my mind) is fantastic - Northeast Acura in Latham. Prompt courteous service always. I brought in the TSX to complain about the windows and ever since that passenger side door seems funny. On the other hand - I have zero problems with the driver side which they also replaced the glass in. So I'm on the fence - but opening the door up may lead to other issues. Again, I'm no expert and value the opinions I read on here.
