Short wife! How to fix?

I'm hoping I caught your attention! My wife is 5 foot tall and the front passenger seat is a little low. Is there an easy way to raise the seat by an inch?

you might get away with raising the seat rails or mounts with a few washers.

My wife is 4'11" and the seat height doesn't bother her in the RDX. It is more of a problem for me because my knees are about 1" from the glove box when I sit in the seat (6'3"). It is soooo nice in our MDX to adjust the 6-way passenger seat. Acura could at-least put a manual height adjustment on the lesser models.

I just picked up a 2007 RDX which I really like. Even the dealership thinks Acura should have installed the passenger seat with the same adjustments you get in the drivers seat.

you could probably use some kind of spacer to mount the seat... total DIY

or get an upholstery shop to make the bottom cushion thicker...below the seat heater to maintain functionality... custom work though. too bad no RHD models or we could get one of those...

I was considering this in an MR2.

I want to thank everybody for their suggestions, they were helpful! I had one guy even offer to make an attachment for the seat to raise it. When I went through everything with my wife, she stopped complaining and said it is really NOT that bad. LOL Like I said, this was helpful!!
