rear diff. assembly

The other day I was checking to change the rear diff. fluid on my 2007 acura rdx and noticed one bolt missing on the right side of the assembly. I checked with the acura parts dept to see if I can replace it, he said thats how it's suppose to be. Could somebody please look at the rear assembly and verify that. You can easily notice that it is not there. It seems really odd not to put the bolt when there is obviously a provision for it.
thanks

This video might help. Temple of VTEC does an underbody analysis of the RDX.
