Random issue with upper dash showing "Message" (Pic)

So for whatever reason, I will randomly get "Message" show up on my upper dash. At that point, my radio turns off and becomes unresponsive. The only way I have been able to rectify the problem is by disconnecting the battery for 30+ mins and then reconnect it. I have looked in the info and system tabs and do not see any sort of messages so I'm not sure what could be causing this. Does anyone have any insight on what the problem could be? I have an 08 with tech package. Thanks!

Weird. I also have an 08 tech and I've never seen this. Is AcuraLink somehow set up?

No, I don't even know what that's used for honestly. It's just annoying and I want to know why it happens lol.

No, I do not get a CEL when that happens so I guess my only option would be to take it to a dealer when it happens again. I just don't want to waste the money.

bummer.. might be a short somewhere causing weird issues. Speaking of the battery however, how old is it? Sometimes older batteries have a voltage dropping too low and causes some really weird issues. If it's an older battery, I'd buy a new one before throwing that money at the dealer.

Check to see if you have any pending messages stored in the vehicle. Info button, then "Messages" in the upper left corner.

It's funny that you say that because I just had to replace the battery about 4 months ago. Car was pulling 500mah or something like that when it was off so it kept draining my battery. Had to take it to the dealer, ended up being the Bluetooth module so I had it disconnected. So I don't think it'sthe battery.

That was the first thing I did. Nothing unfortunately. It's so strange.
