P0420 and now P0299
I have a 2007 Tech with almost 152k on it. I purchased it with 7k on it so I have got plenty of use out of it. I had the P0420 code and it was the cat. I had the Acura dealer replace the cat and the other items in the TSB. That was about a week ago. I was driving to work, freeway speed, hit the gas to pass and the cel pops on with the awd code (turned off after turning off car) and the P0299. I have seen various combos of the awd code with another code on this board, but none with the P0299. The boost gauge is only going about 1/2, maybe a little over 1/2. Everything is stock. I checked the air fiter and air box and cleaned loose debris from the intercooler. I looked over the various hoses and vacuum lines and nothing is jumping out at me. When I take it back in for the latest code I have a feeling they will say it's something turbo related as the code says "turbo underboost". It's functioning, just not fully. Is there anything the dealer could have done in replacing the cat and fuel pump gaskets that would have triggered the latest code only a week later or is it nearing the end for the RDX? Is there something obvious with this code (solenoids, hose leaks, etc) that I should be looking for? Thank you all for reading this lengthy post and in advance for any input and advice.

I'm getting a P0299 as well. About 101k, stock 2007 Tech. It happens when I go WOT for a longer period of time. I replaced the engine air filter with an Acura one (was using a third party before), cleaned the MAF sensor and found that the hose clamp on the airbox was a little loose so I tightened that up. Pulled the negative battery cable for twenty minutes to reset everything. Still throwing the code though. I get the Check Emissions and SH-AWD lights when it happens. I may bring it to the dealer this week.

The converter part number is 18160-RWC-A00 and is $302.11 on oemacuraprts.com and $306.20 from Delray Acura, both almost $150 less than the local dealer quoted. There is a core charge on it also. It looks like the upper and lower cover need to be replaced with it and those are a total of about $27. I don't know if this is a dyi job for me and my hand tools, or if I buy the parts and have the local mechanic stick it on.

Superblast...that was the exact same symptom as mine. If I didn't go full throttle, there was no issue. The AWD light I wouldn't be concerned about as it will go right back off. The dealer told me today that it's the "under floor catalytic converter possibly clogged from melted pre-catalytic converter that was replaced on last repair". I'm a little leary of that word "possibly" and oh yeah, another $700 to fix! I'm going to crawl under it tonight and see how hard it looks to replace. The cat part number they wrote down looks to be 78160-RWC-A00 with a retail price of $449.09. I'm guessing that part can be purchased through Delray, Bernardi, etc for much less. I don't want to throw more money at it and have a different code a few days later.
The first catalytic converter is toast and the second one is clogged. They want $2200 to replace them. Just curious what you paid for the first repair. I've been happy with this dealership over the years and I want to support them but that price seems high.

The price ended up being $1600 to replace both cats. Car seems good again. The tech apparently went over the turbo pretty thoroghly and found that it is fine so that's some good news.
I'm really noticing the breathing sound from the stock airbox since the repair and I'm guessing that the damaged converters were restricting airflow enough to make a difference in the sound.

After replacing the rear cat the RDX is running great, accelerates like before and my dashboard Christmas tree is no longer glowing like the Griswold's! I ended up purchasing the rear cat from Bernardi for $293.94.
