Non-tech center display screen scratches

Anyone else have problems with the center display screen scratching easily? I can only see the scratches when the screen is in direct sunlight, so it's not that big of a deal. When I do see it though.....it bugs me...

When I first received my RDX, the screen was scratched badly and I had it replaced. I just noticed a few days ago (not many sunny days here in Ohio) that it was scratched again. I think the only thing I've used to clean it is a windex wipe and then followed with a cotton cloth. It gets dusty easily though, I may have wiped away the dust a few times but it shouldn't be that sensitive, should it?

Windex is a no no on lcd. There are cleaners made for the lcd screen (check your local business supply store for LCD Cleaner or even electronic stores but they usually sell the monster over priced stuff)

What you can also try is a screen protector off ebay.

I had the same problem, and the dealership over here managed to get the scratches out for me using some kind of rubbing compound made for plastics. The dealers have it because they normally use it to get light scratches out of headlights on the vehicles they service.

The head service guy worked on it and told me he had never heard of this problem before. He was ready to order a new screen for me, when he called one of their detail guys over and asked him if he had any ideas. The detailer had never done it, but he figured the rubbing compound may help. Low and behold, they came out completely.
