Looking for expert opinion - have a chance to buy a 08 RDX with 180K

Hi all - I was hoping to ask you all a few questions & get opinions on a RDX I have been looking at. It's an 08 with the tech pkg. It's in beautiful shape but it has 180K! The orig owner/current owner is in sales & travels A LOT so it mostly highway miles. What I guess I am asking first & foremost is since the readers & contributors here own this vehicle & hopefully by now some have seen 180K and beyond...how reliable at this mileage have your RDX's been? What problems should I be looking for? Do you even recommend taking a chance on a RDX with this mileage? I can buy it less than the current wholesale but I'm not buying it to resell it, I am not a dealer. I am a regular guy looking to buy it & drive it (hopefully somewhat trouble free) for the next 2-3 years. Please advise people!! =o) What would you do, would you take the chance with 180K??

Thanks all!
Angelo

I'd only take the chance if the guy service it according to the maintenance minder and had the service records to prove it.

the two most important components are the turbo and engine.
you'll want to know if it had its oil changed in regular intervals.

if no service history, i would stay away.

all bets are off if traveling salesman neglected the maintenance on the vehicle.

whats the price? if its dirt cheap then I would get it and set aside 3,000.00 for a transmission
3,000.00 for a BBK
3,000.00 for a new ETS intercooler, RV-6 down pipe, DW800cc injectors, DW 65c fuel pump, Hondata Flash-Pro, and finally an upgraded turbo evergreen or maybe blouch.
and 1,000.00 for new struts and Eibach lowering springs.

in short if its less then 8grand and has never been in an accident your good.
