Issue with NAVI stereo in 2008 RDX

Somewhat minor but a bit of an annoyance:

When you are listening to music and then turn off the system completely.. and then
turn it back on after a few seconds or minutes, the music continues BUT when
pushing down on the knob on the 'current CD playing' you are not able to get
to the track list.. it doesn't 'beep' as it normally does. I tried a few things by
going into settings, goin back from map mode to audio mode. The only way to
fix it was to switch to another CD.

*this was with MP3 CDs so I dunno if it affects normal CDs as well.

I have version 4.62 that shipped with the 2008 RDX T.

Press the Audio button? I'll see if I can reproduce your problem in my 07 tech but I believe you gotta press the audio button to activate the song list.

yah.. it appears to be intermittent.

while listening to audio, have the screen in AUDIO mode.. and then do the above... once you power back on and it's back on AUDIO mode on the screen, i find that at times, pushing down on the big dial to obtain 'folder list' does not function.

Did you wait a bit it could just be the navi just starting up (i.e. figuring out where you are).

well.. that is possible except that during the drive the navi was already ON.. i just turned off the audio and then turned the audio back on.. i just took it out for a spin and well hmmm.. no problems at all with the above.. perhaps i just didnt' wait long enough for the system to acknowledge the discs/directory even though it was already playing.

I have the same issue though only with mp3 discs. I find if I give it a few seconds and then press the button it works just fine. Kind of annoying but I can deal with it.

I have the same issue with my 08 Tech. I think you have to give it a little time ( like 5-10 seconds) so that it can read the MP3 CD completely and then it will work.
