Hi, I have a 08 rdx, its my first time posting,

The problem i am having right now is that, once in a while, there is a hiss sound, not the turbo, i am suspecting that is either vacuum hose, or pcv valve?
Anybody had any symptom of this? Where should i begin ? How would i determine?

Hissing may be a vac leak, use your ear to find the source, then let us know. Vacuum hoses can be found at auto parts stores and just need inside diameter, and there's nothing special about Acura vac hoses.

 

I looked at the car myself, 2 dealers, 1 indy shop, No Leak, No hissing sound.

All I can hope is that it was my brother's mistake describing the symptom, hes a noob, he thought something was squealing and hissing, not the turbo. But i dont see nothing neither the experts are, so i am leaving at it now..... DMV should examine on how you should drive and also basic car repair knowledge.....

 

Thats too bad, the RDX has a few farts and whines tucked into its frame. Try this, mess with the vent selector to see if it replicates the noise, other than that, not being there it's hard to say what it is.

Basic car repair knowledge.. don't say that.. the "Barbies and Kens" won't be able to drive.
