Hi all RDX owners,
Does the passenger side heated seat heat the lower back area like the driver side does?

I recently tried it out while my wife was driving and the heat was only coming from the seating pad and not the lower back.

that is correct. only the seat bottom on the passenger side has heat. lame, yes.

 

That's correct. Apparently there is a sensor in the seatback that is used by the airbag system to determine the passenger's position, so there is no heating element.
