I had to get a whole new rear end put in my 07 rdx last week and it is making a weird wizzing sound when im under 25 mph, i looked under the car and saw that there was a rod coming off of my exhaust and going to nothing, it that an issue?

 

There are deflector rods welded to the exhaust pipe(s) at a couple of points. Picture? or a better description of the "rod" location(s).

 

OP is refering to the hanger rod. Needs rubber bushing.

 

Thanks, i know one is a deflector but im not sure about the other but i did find out that my rear brakes are rubbing so im gonna fix that and see if i still hear anything

 

...what does "whole new rear end" entail? tell us that story.

 

Haha well i lost control in a rain storm and hit a curb, they replaced the axles and pretty much everything else that conects the wheels to the rest of the car
