DTCs P1172 & P2A00

My RDX is throwing the following codes: P1172 & P2A00.

P1172: air/fuel sensor 1 circuit out of range
P2A00: air/fuel sensor 1 circuit range/performance problem

I replace air/fuel sensor 1 with Denso 234-9061.
The CEL is still on along with check SH-AWD warning.
What could be the problem?

Hi, I have the same issues. Did you ever resolve this? If so, can you provide instructions?

Do you know where the location of the sensor is? I have this issue and the OEM Acura sensor with the same part number ordered. From the service manual, it doesn't give much detail except it's somewhere on the passenger side near the top of the engine. Is the clip underneath the same plastic cover for the spark plugs and I would have to take out the intercooler to get at it?

Thanks

its near your turbo in the uppipe first sensor closest to your turbo is the primary air fuel sensor second sensor furthest away from your turbo doesn't control fuel it just monitors exhaust gases and if your primary is working correctly.

What year is your Acura RDX?

By any chance, were you able to locate the O2 sensor and change it out?
I'm attempting to do this, but still not sure exactly where the O2 sensor is in the engine bay.

I posted my finding in this forum but here is where the sensor is, and how to replace it.
