Crack

Hey guys,
I have a slight crack in my bumper after trying to avoid another car and hitting a cone at about 70 mph. It's on the front right, for example in this picture. It's on that line that separates top fender from bottom bumper.

The crack is approximately 1.0-1.5mm long. Is there any quick fix to seal it before it gets larger? With enough air force pushing on the bumper, it'll probably get larger every week or so. Any suggestions?

What kinda putty exactly? I could imagine there are different kinds from Home Depot or even auto shops.

Is there any type of glue sealant?

Its the stuff from tv with Billy Mays. I think you can get the stuff from CVS or Boscovs. Harbor Freight has some also.

The only thing I can think of from Billy Mays is that scratch fixer bull---t. If that's what you're thinking of, that's only for scratches. Not for a crack.

Back in my ricer days, I had a Civic with the big stupid spoiler. This was a long time ago. Anyhow, the Tanabe exhaust had so much vibration that it would cause a crack in the outer edge of the wing. I knew a guy back then who would fix that right up for me. I suggest getting a good detail shop to look at it vs a body shop. You'll need to park it a few days to let the sealant and more than likely, the paint dry. Driving after a fix is just going to cause that stress fracture of a crack to open right back up.

Dude, I work in a paint shop. I'm not talking about scratch fixer. It's an epoxy putty. Google it.
