the leather covering my center-console has started separating... has this happened to anyone else? any estimates of how much it'd cost to fix this?

I think eBay replacements can run around $25 - $35: Fits 07-12 Acura RDX Center Console Lid Armrest Cover Real Leather Black | eBay

I replaced mine with color matched real leather from a local shop for about $100 3 1/2 years ago. It has held up perfectly and feels better than OEM. I wish I had the $$ to do the entire interior in real leather.

 

Welcome to the club...I had a local upholstery shop replace mine with real leather, color-matched, for about $120. There are cheaper options out there, but this guy did a fantastic job and it feels so much nicer than the vinyl that was on there before. Matched stitching and all, looks 100% oem.
