Busted glass
Busted glass
I found out that someone/something broke my rear passenger window, the one that doesn't move by the cargo area. Should i go to Acura for a new one, or just get some regular one and get Acura to put their tint back on it?
Had the same issue only it was the rear window that rolls up and down. Called Acura and they sent me to the local glass shop in the area I was visiting. The glass looks the same at first glance (w/tint) but has several vertical ripples in it. If the insurance company wants to haggle over the price tag just pay the difference and insist that they use factory glass to replace it.
+1 for OEM glass.
One on-line Acura dealer is showing the rear quarter window glass for $105.55 plus shipping (maybe $20-30). This includes the molding, seals, clips, even the ULEV sticker and is listed as privacy glass.
The right quarter glass is part 73500-STK-A00, and the left is 73550-STK-A0099.

Thanks for that part number, i did a google search and found what you must have saw. I think i will do that. I can wait a few days, the tint held the window together i guess so it is still intact.
thanks
