Air mix motor?
Air mix motor?
Hey folks,
I have an A/C problem on an 2007 RDX Tech and it really seems like the problem is the air mix door on the passenger side. I have no idea where this motor resides. I have been looking for it on parts diagrams but since I don't know where it is, I have been unsuccessful.
Can someone point me to a diagram or part number? I'd like to order this part and swap it out.
Thanks,

I saved a copy of the 2007 Acura RDX service manual on my Dropbox (around 140 MB). Hopefully, this should give you step-by-step instructions on the air mix motor: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y3oyrs1nds...ANUAL.pdf?dl=0

This was long ago, memory is that I removed the cable from the clip, grease the track some how made the clip had more pressure, You can put some glue.
you have to be sure that is either full open or full close so you no its the right position.
My problem was the door would go all the way so did had the requested temp.
Car is on stands, easy to take picture, but battery is removed, cant make it move so I can recall better them this, sorry
You can see the door motor also.
This is the drivers side, the passenger side is covered.

Still a thing
I suspect this issue will continue for those rocking this fun ride.
Mine: '07 RDXtech
Cold air only on Driver's side
Found blend door cable to be disconnected from actuator arm completely. Also actuator motor was locked.
These items are visible from driver's foot well as pictured by others. Removal is 3 - 7mm coarse hex head screws. Plug connector has a release tab. Remove the 2 - 12mm nuts mounting the accelerator for ease of access.
If you can unbind the actuator great but if like mine it will need replaced. Determined a small gear mounting shaft had broken from the case inside, causing a bind that could not be reasonably repaired. The case locking tabs were very brittle and broke easily. I'd assume that is exactly what happened inside and if measured would prove to be a common fail point. Too bad though, all the gears were in great shape and would have continued to function if only they had used a metal or more substantial plastic shaft for the gears to run on.
$45 tomorrow part on Amazon. Others $25 -$115
