Has anyone had any issues with the e-Trailer or Draw Tite after-market trailer hitches.

I notice these are attached with only 2 bolts on each side, and only on the bottom side of the frame rail;

whereas, the OEM hitch has 3 bolts on each side, and 4 of those bolts secure throught the top and bottom side of the frame rails - which would seem much stronger if you have a heavy trailer.

However, the Draw-Tite is offered in a 2", which seems much nicer than the 1.25" OEM.

Any comments would be appreciated

 

I have the Hidden Hitch from etrailer. It also uses 2 bolts per side. The only issue I have is that the hitch is a little loose sliding into the receiver and it clanks around when towing.
