2008 RDX..VSA SH-AWD ABS Lights all On

Hi All,

We have a 2008 RDX, VSA, SH-AWD and ABS lights all came on after a bad snow fall here in Canada.

Our vehicle is a US vehicle (No Warranty in Canada).

Has anyone had this problem, I know it's probably a bad or dirty sensor. If you have had this problem, How was it fixed, What sensor was it and it's location if you know it? I would like to check it out myself before I bring it in, Or drive it to the US, to get it fixed under warranty.

Our RDX is parked outside and it's been very cold and snowy.....

Thanks In Advance

You have no warranty at all in Canada because it's a U.S. vehicle? That seems very odd to me.

We can get warranty in the US, because it is a US RDX, They will not warranty in Canada. If they ask, the car is used in the primarily in the US. The rest is none of their business. It is a 2hr drive for me to get to the US, They would have to check it and then if they don't have the part in-stock, I have just waisted my day.

I may just pay for a diagnostic...Call the dealership in the US and have them order the part, Or I'll just have them install it, here in Canada...If it isn't that much???

Post Frigid intake

Peanut this issue happened to me as well. I thought it was happening becuase of my cold air intake, but now you. I brought it in to acura and all they did was reset the computer and all was well. This happens because of extremly frigid conditions the maf sensor starts acting up when its too cold. you can reset it by yourself by just disconnecting one of your battery terminals. I hope this saves you a trip across the border, let me know.

Thanks VeNeNo, But it did not work. I sprayed the RDX down with some fresh water, brought it home and then I disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes and the lights are still on.

I know the computer reset because it asked me for my Navi and Radio code. I think I am going to pay the $100 for the diagnostic, before I drive to Buffalo!!!

I'll let you know what they find.
Thanks Again

Question

Maybe the reset did work? How cold/wet has it been by you recently...?

It came back on! It was only off for a short trip, When I started the car today, they where all back.

I am looking for a scanner/ ABS code reader tool for Acura's. Does anyone know of one that will work.....Cheap!!! The cheapest I could find was $429usd, PC Based, shipped from China.
