I have a 2007 Rdx that is giving me code P0757. I had code P0842 a few weeks ago and replaced the 3rd and 4th gear shift switches and it cleared. Now this code came up after another 1000 miles or so. Can't find any info on what P0757 means on an RDX. Anyone had this or know what needs to be replaced? Thanks.

Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on).

Make sure that the transmission is filled to the proper level, and check for fluid leaks.

Drain the ATF through a strainer. Inspect the strainer for metal debris or excessive clutch material.


Does the strainer have metal debris or excessive clutch material? YES - Replace the transmission, then go to step 11.

NO - Replace the ATF, then go to step 4.

Refill the transmission with the recommended fluid into the filler hole (A). Always use Acura ATF-Z1 Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). Using a non-Acura ATF can affect shift quality.


Automatic Transmission Fluid Capacity:

3.3 L (3.5 US qt) at change

7.8 L (8.2 US qt) at overhaul


Install the ATF filler bolt (B) and a new sealing washer (C).

Check that the fluid level is between the upper mark and lower mark on the dipstick.

Connect the HDS to the DLC (A), and go to the BODY ELECTRICAL. If the HDS does not communicate with the PCM, troubleshoot the DLC circuit.

Select ADJUSTMENT in the GAUGES MENU with the HDS.

Select RESET in the MAINTENANCE MINDER with the HDS.

Select MAINTENANCE SUB ITEM 3 RESET, and reset the ATF life with the HDS.

If the maintenance minder required to replace the ATF, reset the maintenance minder, and this procedure is complete. If the maintenance minder did not require to replace the ATF, go to step 9 and reset the ATF life with the HDS.

Thanks. That doesn't sound good. I will drain fluid and strain it to see what I get.
