2007 rdx cant fix p0172 !!!!!!!

PLEASE HELP ME

So I bought this 2007 RDX and I love the car, the built in turbo is great and interior I love it.
but when I got the car it had 1 code P0172 basically the car is too rich, too much gas or not enough air, I checked every where for a air leak. And I put a new 02 sensor, I cleaned the MAF sensor, I changed the spark plugs, and still ain’t go off so then the car started to misfire bad and then my exhaust started blowing black smoke as soon as I started CDL school, today I just put new fuel injectors and resettled the code with my OBII scanner and it’s not throwing that black smoke no more and it’s not misfire bad no more I can still feel the misfire slightly but it’s drives me now, I thought it was fixed for a second because it got better and no more black smoke but I felt the misfire still so I was confused thinking that maybe that’s how these cars is plus it has 180,000 miles but then the check engine light came back on a half hour later after putting the new fuel injectors in. If anyone can help or had a similar problem can you please give me some advice, I would appreciate it so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the forums. The forum where you originally posted, the AcuraZine User Help, Support & Suggestions Area , is meant for problems, comments, and suggestions for the website itself, so I moved your thread to the car specific forum applicable to your vehicle.

This was explained in the sticky thread at the top of that forum, or click here if you can't find it, which will explain why you shouldn't have posted your thread there. And I deleted your other two threads in the RDX Forum

Some other things you can check:

MAP sensor
Downstream o2 sensor
Fuel pressure regulator

It may be your best bet at this point to have a mechanic properly diagnose the issue, and then decide if you can DIY it from there to save money, vs trying to play whack-a-mole with more parts.

Did you ever get this resolved? If so, what was the issue?

I am having a similar issue with mine, except the injector replacement seemed to cause the P0172. However, it was always showing higher than normal STFT values. Injectors did seem to resolve the starting issue I was having though.

Here is the section of the service manual that deals with this code. You might have a vacuum leak in the intake system, a bad sensor, or possibly need a valve adjustment. Good luck.
