RDX New Owner
Hello Everyone,
I've been reading a ton on here for bit and decided to make the move to the Acura Family. A little back story, back in 2020 I was looking for a new car SUV as I live in Colorado and need AWD. A beautiful bright orange RDX PMC edition came up on my quest for getting a new car. Alas it wasn't meant to be with a price of the high 50k mark. I had a kia soul that I was trading it so naturally I went the local Kia dealership and drove out with a Sportage SX Turbo. While I loved the car and never had any issues, I knew in my mind what my next car would be( even through it probably wouldn't be a PMC edition). So lets move forward 12 months and well at this time my Sportage was worth more then what I bought it for due to the shortages we all saw the car industry was going through. I said to myself why not? and began looking for my RDX. While looking I was amazed that I came across the PMC edition that I had seen at the dealership website 12 months earlier. Of course the price was once again more then I wanted to pay and decided that I was good with my Kia and let my mind not my heart make my fiscal decision's. Well the KIA boy's then hit 2 months later and while my car wasn't stolen (push button start) it was broken into 3 times in a span of 5 months. I was fed up with Kia not helping its owners handle the situation and learning my car insurance sky-rocked due to the thefts. I did my research and days on days of living on car search websites. Looking for what I wanted a RDX A-Spec in Apex Blue with red leather. i found one and it was used but CPO and that was it. I set an appointment the Auto Nation brought my trade in and test drove the new car and it was going to be glorious (in my mind at least). Well I had my own finance set up and well when the time came to work the deal i kept getting run around from the dealership. I left and told them what they needed to do for my to buy that car. well the span of the next few days were spent with me waiting for them to call and then hearing that "we almost have it worked out blah blah blah. Well being upset and what was going on I decided to go back the web and look for other RDX that weren't being sold at auto nation. I never would have thought but I came across a local dealership with a Orange RDX PMC. I picked up the phone and called. they said that it was just added to lot and it was still for sale. I ran down to the dealer and there he was. I looked over the car fax to only see that this was the exact car that I had seen 9 months earlier. Could it be? well yes it can. So I bought the RDX and have been in love ever since.

Welcome to Acurazine! I've seen one of these in the wild, and I must say that it stands out in a unique way. In person, the orange is very rich and deep to the eye.
