Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forums. I'm looking for some help with a recent problem that came up with my RDX. Perhaps some experts here can shed some light on what it may be.

Car: 2007 RDX with Tech Package at ~128,000 miles.

Issue Symptoms:

1. check emissions/ check SHAWD light came on,
2. car idles rougher than before, shakes when idling
3. feels really weak when accelerating from a stop and sometimes will stall (accelerates fine when moving)

• I recently took it in for service, so I have a new battery from Acura, they said the issue was with the positive battery terminal which was loose. I got that replace at Autozone, and the check emissions and SHAWD lights went away for about a week then came back. Terminals don't appear to be loose. Car starts fine from what I can tell.
• Car seemed to accelerate better when I refilled to a better gas (use 93 from Quicktrip, previously I had filled up using 93 from Valero twice because I wasn't near a Quicktrip). However, that impression of good power/acceleration lasted only a few days and the stalling when accelerating from a stop is back again.
• These issues could be completely unrelated but I'm just not sure. I noticed the symptoms were similar to a forum post on an EGR valve issue for an MDX. I did call Acura and the parts guy said the RDX does not have an EGR valve and the only thing with a similar function is a purge valve. He suggested I check the forums for what may be the issue.

Has anyone had the same issues? Know what could the issue be?

Did you try clearing the code and seeing if it comes back?

Yes, I did. Code returns each time. I've ordered a replacement O2 sensor.

Will provide updates once I have it changed.
