I’m new to the RDX community, but have been a member of the AcuraZine TL group for 4 years. What a great site for information.

Has anyone tinted their windows in the RDX? If so is the moleskin required to prevent scratching like it was in the TL?

Nope, I've had mine tinted since I got in back in 2006. No moleskin, no scratches, no problems.

 

No Moleskin required on the RDX. I had mine done a couple of months ago and the tint shop explained to me that the RDX has a built in Moleskin already and most SUVs have it already. I asked for my friend who has a TL and if he were to do it he would need to pay for the Moleskin for all four windows. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks for the info. Good to know I will not have to remove the door panels or pay for the moleskin. I will schedule my tint install.
