Depends, it would be nice to include design, price, quality of product. Have you fabricated one yourself? (if so post pictures) Even though the turbo back will be 3" piping, it can restrict power if design and quality aren't up to the task. So it depends on what you present.

I'd love a turbo-back that's 3" and louder than stock. Mandrel-bent, I assume?

the plan is to use 3" mandrel bent piping and the only thing up in the air is muffler. flowmaster, borla and magnaflow all make somthing that will work. im trying to get ahold of remus because there stuff sounds great.

Since I am laid off this summer I will be going ahead with the plan to produce an alternative for those seeking a full turbo back exhaust. My cost is as of yet unknown (450ish) I plan to reuse the factory tips so it will still look stock. And that’s where the fun starts. The plan is to use a flowmaster (think late 90 comaro) muffler single 3" in dual 2.5" out in conjunction with some sort of resonator. I will be using 3” mandrel bent stainless steel piping, flanges, and 02 bungs.

Yeah, I know about the house stuff.

Is there a way to get more air to the stock airbox for us that are using a regular K&N?

I've got a 3" exhaust from the downpipe all the way back. Don't know if that's a turboback...

anyway, the muffler I used was a magnaflow. It's a really deep sound, however with straight pipes, you do get a lot of interior drone during a higher gear and when boost is coming on. I put 2 resonators in and it canceled out the drone, and the exhaust sound is still very apparent. Mine was made of stainless steel and mandrel bends.

I am however selling the vehicle and just waiting for my 135i to be delivered!

I am selling a standalone hondata ECU, CP-E intake as well. Let me know if you're interested!

Yep, it does. Simply swap out your current ECU, put in the new one and voila. No other things to do, and doesn't need any immobilizer recoding.
