xrvman,
Hows this BPV working so far. Have you tried in terms of hard driving like redline shifts. No problems so far?

no problems whatsoever, I put it on the car with 800 miles it now has 2800 miles and I drive the car like I stole it everyday. First things first... yes this was the factyory intake in the video... You guys should here this thing with an intake on... what a screamer it seriously scares people... ill try to make a video asap... Secondly, the only feasible way I can produce these things is if I buy them in bulk and mod them in bulk... So a feeler list will be in order from here on out... If you would like one for SURE without knowing the price point(I know thats hard to decide, but if you know your intrested list it)... Going to meet with my fabricator next week and discuss pricing this also will be heavily influenced by wehat I can get them for from the original company that made it... hopefully bulk buying will cut costs

Sorry I was watching the video on my phone and could not tell if it had the OEM air box. What intake do you have on their now? Post that vid when you get a chance!

Yeah I'm curious as to what exactly you modded as well? Do you have to use a Forge BOV? I'd be interested if the price was not crazy.

Also how does it work with the aftermarket intake? Any issues with Hondata, Intake and the BOV? Lean, to rich etc.

I wish I could give answers to all of those but I cant... So first things first, I am currently running a stock, open airbox, I will be getting the Weapon R intake, but it wont asound any different then the open intake im running now. I have modded the BOV, it is the forged performance splitter, the bottom flange was removed in a lath, a new flange was made out of aluminum based off the stock flange. The return side is aluminum as well turned down to the propper ID and OD then heat pressed on. It must be a BOV that has the ability to recirq. I would love to tell you that it works perfectly fine with the Reflash, but I have a 2011 and the reflash is still in production stages for my year. But I see no reason it wouldnt work fine.

I see. Thanks for the info. It's been a few years since I have had a boosted honda. May I ask why you choose a Weapon R Intake? I've always thought they were king of on the level of APC products. Not knocking your choice just wondering!

The BOV sounds good!

IDK why I have chosen the Weapon R... I am still in the deciding process... At the moment I am more than happy with my stock intake mod ( open the airbox, Place your stock filter on the top half(Turbo Side) of the airbox, put a few zip ties though the screw holes, holding the filter in place, and turn it upsidedown facing the top of the hood, set it in the bottom half of the airbox and close the hood) thing sounds and runs great especially with the K&N drop in... im just waiting for my reflash

Nice! Nothing against Weapon R. I just figured there would be "better" brands out there.

Still have not decided on what Intake to go with. I wish T1R or Password JDM etc. would make a big ass CF or Kevlar one lol.

Also I don't know if I just want to get a K & N drop in filter or if Hondata will offer any intake/exhaust friendly ECU upgrade! A Hondata Flash Pro would be sweet for the RDX.

Any troubles with the Intercooler Filter fiting over the Forge BOV?

with the hose that is on the BOV now, the cover doesnt fit... I and going to be getting a 90 degree bend peice and then it wont be an issue... the forged BOV is the same height as the factory BPV

The HKS is fine as long as you run the BPV add on parts, but then its pointless for sound mods... The car need some form of return air under dump or else it will run rich and stall out the engine at random...

I used to live in Vancouver,Wa which is right across the bridge from Portland Oregon and it used to rain every day.

It rain multi-times in one day. (Stop and start so the mod you have there is not good in that two States.
Had to move out of that state because I couldn't take it anymore..pointless to have a car wash when it can rain up to 6 times in one day.

I see, well that sucks... but for all intensive purposes I have driving this mod in the rain a bunch of times with no issues So IDK if that helps...
