RDX on E85!

I think cars/trucks that can run E85 use different non corrosive materials from the gas tank to the injectors. Ethanol is more of a solvent compared to an oil like gas. E85 will slowly eat away at your fuel system until failure. Only 10% is the max our vehicles can use safely.
I don’t think our ECU is programmed to adjust to E85? What you gain in power, you will lose in mpgs. The Hondata reflash is the cheapest bang for the buck for instant power.

^ didn't I say that would happen. Hah. Here is the kicker tho. Anyone lookin to go e85 would be a expensive road to take anyways. But if you look at it this way. The amount that you pay for a full tank of race fuel compared to e85 is worth it. Not to mention with same mods done alone from the fuel pump and injectors. E85 would net you more power than say 100oct pump fuel Also anytime you increase the power alot your losing mpg anyways. The fuel line debate has been beaten to death on alot of other cars and to tell you the truth people that have ran it in cars for about 4 years have not shown signs of corrosion. The only thing you would want to monitor is your by doin UOA ( used oil analysis) to make sure that its not messing anything up internally

+2 to that
Glad you decided against it.
My engine builder is telling me avoid converting to it right now, forgot most of the reasoning so I won't quote him but it has to do with availability of it 85 for the most part and the constant tuning is the other, well these are 400+ hp 4 wheeled ghetto sleds.
@window ours is 15% here in KS and by our laws it can contain more. Hopefully our new goveneror can fix it, it burned cooler but with lower mpg, it has a heavier price tag because it cost more to refine than unleaded gasoline. Go figure. The local tuners arre pushing it like heroine and it cost too much.
