Anyone have insight into install of meth kits onto 09 RDX?

 

I have methanol injection from my former vehicle installed on my RDX. the results were the following, I used my mechanic's computer scanner to measue the intake temp:

outside temp 30°C
intake temp during city driving ~50°C (varies)
intake temp during at WOT on highway drops from 50°C and stabilizes at 42°C
intake temp during at WOT with methanol on highway drops from 50°C and stabilizes at 21°C!!!

it compensates for the TMIC inefficency. the suv runs strong even in hot days.

^ Yeah that's what I was thinking would be the result.
Also, if you are not using the FlashPro, I would use the smallest jet available

 

I'm using a 250-350 HP jet. works just fine.

 

Nice, so how is your system activated?

And, did you notice any increase in mpg?

 

it is pressure activated, single step, not progressive. Basically it starts injecting at WOT because I set it at 8psi or so.

I have not monitored nor care much for mpg, since methanol kicks in when I push the pedal to the metal, hahaha.

I used the windshield washer fluid tank for the methanol, I barely use it to clean the windshield anyway.

 

do you have any better pics? Only thing I saw was nozzle position. Where did you mount your pump?
