Here is the response from both company -
AEM - Beau
Fuel / Ignition Controller - is a universal unit so it's designed to be used on just about any vehicle. However, we have not tested it on that particular vehicle, nor have I talked to anyone with your exact vehicle running an F/IC. The F/IC-6 (30-1910) would be the suggested FIC for your application, though.
COBB - Ian
I ask him if there is nothing available; can we start a group buy to ensure that we are serious about it and the response -
Cobb Tuning does not currently support the Acura RDX. Unfortunately, Cobb Tuning is a relatively small company and we simply do not have the resources to take on every platform that could benefit from the AccessPort. At this time we do not have any plans to develop the AcessPort for the ACura RDX, and are focusing on improving the ACessPort for the platforms we currently do support.

Unfortunately for Acura (and us), they decided to only put the 2.3L turbo motor in the RDX. It's hard to see a tuner like Cobb get involved in what amounts to a very low demand market.
I owned a couple Subaru Forester 2.5XTs previously, and for the most part any engine mods you could install on a WRX, you could install on the Forester.
We just purchased our RDX on Saturday, and I'm hoping Hondata will even support a tune on the 2012!

The Juke-R is in development and will be pushing 480hp with a time of 0-60 around 3 seconds.
Faster than the BMW 1M and the M3.
I think having a quick CUV is the new thing.
If not; why would Nissan invest so much time and money into the JUKE-R

That is what we all are hoping for that Hondata will continue to support the RDX. Let us have the flashpro.

I see the RDX more in the upscale/higher end compact SUV market (i.e. X3, EX, GLK, etc.). If I wanted the ability to modify it extensively, I'd probably get another Forester 2.5XT;

Still, it would be nice to have a tuneable ECU (I always prefer this over an off-the-shelf/generic map). But after perusing these boards and other RDX information, I'm not even 100% confident that Hondata will offer their basic reflash for the 2012. It's a good thing this is the gf's car, I suppose.

^^Nail on the head. This is a hot little SUV/CUV, but it is not the kind of vehicle that one takes out on the track at the weekend autocross. It's just too top heavy. There is nothing wrong with gaining a little more hp, but why dump $3,500 more into this ride to get 350hp when you can trade straight across for a WRX that someone else has already bit the bullet on.

I'm not really a Subaru fan, but I did have one at my disposal for over a week when my sister left her Impreza at my house while on vacation. I love that Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. If she only knew how I drove her car while she was gone... Good comeback!

Exactly. I don't hate the cars, I hate the image they purport.

The last one is sexy but I can't get over the fact that every single damned time I see one of those on the street, the driver is some pimply angst ridden kid with his ball cap on sideways/tilted upward. It's just....... unfortunate.

^ in deed.. dont see pimply kids driving an evo X around =)~

You can't help but be a better driver in the Lancer. The torque from that EVO will humble anyone who drives it.

Agreed, so I had to make my own (with the VF43 turbo, STI top mount intercooler, etc.). I just wished that the RDX had the same aftermarket opportunities as I can't keep any of my vehicles stock...
